Soliciting a Prostitute PC 647(b) and Loitering with Intent to Commit Prostitution PC 653.22

Client allegedly offered an undercover officer disguised as a prostitute money in exchange for sex. This “fake prostitute set up” where an officer wears a wire, is a common tactic used by police and we have successfully defended hundreds of clients facing the same situation. It is an oft-used form of entrapment. We enrolled the client in an educational diversion program, and upon demostrating to the Court that the client had completed the program successfully all charges were dismissed.
